Little Miss Mexico

188 Grenfell Street, Adelaide, SA.
Avg Rating: 4 (22 votes)

After opening in early 2013 for the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Little Miss Mexico returned in December alongside "cousin bar" Little Miss Miami. After more than a year since its original opening, Little Miss Mexico announced in March 2014 that it will permanently close on 30 April 2014. As they said, "We're a pop-up bar, not a permanent bar. All good things must come to an end." Watch this space for further details on Little Miss Mexico's final weeks.

"An outdoor pop-up bar serving Mexican street food with a rum and tequila bar serving cocktails and much more..."

Located on the old and Country Style Interiors site (adjacent the Crown and Anchor), Little Miss Mexico is a more than your average pop-up bar with it's large open courtyard. Serving authentic Mexican street food (think Tacos, Burritos) and your favourite Mexican drinks, (Margaritas, Sangria, Rum and Tequila cocktails) Little Miss Mexico has fast become infamous in Adelaide. The vibe is casual and relaxed, although trying to enter with thongs after dark may cause a problem. The atmosphere and style is casual, and the crowd is varied. Whether you're new to this venue or were a regular in it's earlier days, this is definitely one that will become an instant favourite. Catch it before its gone...

WIll you be sad to see Little Miss Mexico go? Tell us in the comments below what you love about this venue, and what you think of its eventual closure.

Such a shame that they're closing their doors forever. LMM has a great atmosphere day & night - laid back, relaxed, yet uber cool. Great place to meet before heading out for dinner, or to relax with a cold drink after a day of shopping, or to relax in to the late hours with good food, friends & people watching. Adelaide needed this bar, hopefully she's back again some day...

Yes, definitely one of the coolest venues in Adelaide at the moment. Was perfect during those warm days, will be interesting to see how it fares in the cold! But I heard they have chimeneas!

Great Music, cool crowd and great drinks, I second V's thoughts. But get there early unless you want to line up for ages.

It's by far the best bar in Adelaide at the moment! Great atmosphere, cheap tasty food, the dj plays excellent music and it's a great place for people watching and just chill out. I give this place 5 suns!

Chilled atmosphere, they have gone to a lot of trouble here. A great place to start the night or have causal drink with friends.

Its like a backyard house party with hot women, cool drinks and sweet Mexican food. Me Gusta
