An Adelaide icon with a great location. Situated on the corner of East and North Terrace, the Botanic is going through a resurgence. With its classic decor, it feels like you’re drinking in an old chateau or private library. One of the oldest hotels in Adelaide, its the kind of place where you'll find the smaller details of years gone by, like the branded boxes of matches and a properly well stocked cocktail bar (in fact one of the few to still supply flaming cocktail) plus intimate back bar, stocking only local beers, The Botanic Bar suits all types. With plenty of outside seating for ‘people watching’ Surrounded by vines and lanterns, this inviting setting attracts a beautiful crowd. A great place to start the night, however it is also known for getting line ups of late, meaning it’s not a bad place to stay on for the night. Friday and Saturday nights best.

Busy during mad March, but our food and drink service on a Friday night was excellent. Good place to hang and relax with after diner drinks outside.
This is a favourite for my friends and I. Chilled atmosphere, hot sophisticated women, good drinks, great service and a sweet place to kick start your night before moving on to Distill then Sugar!
Relaxed bar with great atmosphere
Great place to start your night off. Relaxed and chilled atmosphere with great tasting pizzas!
I love their $6 pizzas, can't go wrong with the Margherita pizza
