Fairly new to the Adelaide bar scene, Udaberri is located on Leigh Street. Recent years has seen Leigh Street a bar hotspot, with Casablabla and Rigonis featured, and Zhivago just around the corner. Now adding to this increasingly popular hotspot, Udaberri is a cool place to chill amongst friends and meet new people, while also taking in the sights and sounds of what this small city laneway has to offer. The first thing you'll notice is the narrow and rustic unfinished style of the interior - a very European feature and very hot right now. Serving tapas (naturally!), beers and an extensive range of wines, it may not be a final destination for dinner or drinks, but is definitely a great place to start. Friday nights are huge, with lines often occurring before 5.30pm - unheard of in Adelaide! Plus, if you're wondering what the name means, Udaberri in Basque, means 'the spring season', Pintxos means 'bar snacks', and Vino... we think you can work that one out.
